She's the new pup on the block and loves saying hi! Read more about her below.
1. How long have you lived here, in what floor plan and what's your favorite place to chill in the house?
I have lived here for 1 month and love it! My dad tells me we live in the Onyx floorplan. I’m not sure why it’s called that, but it has a bunch of space for me to run! My favorite place to chill out is my puppy bed with my toys.
2. Favorite place to explore in CityWay?
I love walking around the neighborhood and meeting all the friendly people and dogs. I really like checking out the flowerbeds near the busy pool! I think my dad needs to get me one of those!
3. Favorite toy and why?
My favorite toy is my white dinosaur Nylabone because it never breaks no matter how much I chew on it!
Thanks Zoe for stopping by to share with us. We promise to share our pool with you at our end-of-season event!

This spunky young fellow stopped by the office to answer a few questions.
1. How long have you lived at CItyWay and what floor plan did you choose? Where is Dash's favorite spot at home?
We have lived at CityWay for a little over a year and live in the Blush floor plan. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 story layout. Dash's favorite spots are on the couch where he can look out the window or out on the balcony.
2. What is his favorite toy and why?
His favorite toy is either a ball or a bone. The ball is for whenever he wants to play (which is all the time) and the bone is for a rare occasion when he is tired but still wants something to do.
3. What is his favorite CityWay activity?
His favorite activity to do is go to the dog area when it is warm enough (for me), chase bunnies when we go out for morning or evening walks, be pet by people at CityWay and "talk" to other dogs.
Thank you, Dash and owner Neil, for sharing with us! If you are interested in having your furry friend being our next Pet of the Month, contact Danielle today!

This adorable goldendoodle sat down with us for a little Q&A.
What is his favorite daytime activity?
Cru loves being active outside and meeting news dogs/people. Cru loves to be the center of attention and he loves to lick everything!! Whether its chasing leaves, going on long walks downtown, or rolling around on the ground, he loves to spend time outside. With that being said, I don't think he will be too excited for winter. Feel free to say hi when you see Cru walking around the CityWay community.
What is your favorite personality quirk?
Cru has been a very obedient and well behaved puppy. I usually let him too far out of sight because he loves to get into things he shouldn't. He does enjoy walking the line between a good and bad puppy. One of the more funny things he does is he will pick up visitor's shoes and let you chase him throughout the house to get them back. If he gets underneath the bed, good luck getting it back before he chews it up. Virtually anything he knows he shouldn't have in his mouth, he will pick up, look you right in the eyes like he's saying "what now!?" and the dart off! He's pretty quick for his size!! He will definitely be playing soccer when he grows up.
What is his favorite toy and why?
Cru's favorite toy is his stuffed squirrel. I'm under the impression he likes this toy more than others because it symbolizes a real animal. However, since he is a puppy and his attention span is very short, he tends to play with all of his toys a good amount, until he starts diving at my feet/ toes. I can definitely confirm that his non-dog toy are toes or feet of any kind. I think he likes them because he doesn't have any and they move, which catches his attention. Even though I supplied him with his own sneakers that have been designated for him. I own a pretty extensive sneaker collection and this has been the hardest learning curve for a new pup dad. We have been working on a trade and barter program, 1 dollop of peanut butter for the return of one shoe in good condition. Please pray for us!
Thank you, Cru, and Cru's human, Evan, for sharing! If you are interested in having your fur baby featured on our blog, contact Danielle in the office today!

Trick or Treat! Halloween is a few days away and we know most people are in a panic to create a last-minute costume. No matter your level of creativity, we’ve made a list of a few easy costume ideas for all ages and even a few suggestions for pets. Read below for some creative (and easy) Halloween costume suggestions!
Costume: Gumball Machine
What you’ll need:
Multicolor pom poms
A black/white top
Red skirt/pants (the gumball machine)
Black felt (the 25-cent coin slot)
Glue gun and sticks
Steps: Hot glue the pom poms to the shirt to create the “gumball” portion. Use the felt to cut out and create the 25-cent slot. Glue the “money slot” on the red skirt/pants to create the “machine/stand” portion.
Costume: Harry Potter
What you’ll need:
Red and gold striped scarf
Black, round, glasses
Red face paint
Black robe
Steps: Draw a lightening bolt shaped scar on forehead. Throw on the robes, scarf, and glasses, and poof! You’re a Hogwarts legend.
Costume: Holy Guacamole
What you’ll need:
Green t-shirt
Printed photos of avocados
Angel wings
Halo
Steps: Glue printed photos of avocados to a green shirt. Add angel attire and now you’re the puniest person at the party.
Costume: Bunch of Grapes
What you’ll need:
Black t-shirt
Black pants
A pack of purple balloons
Tape or hot glue
Steps: Tape or glue inflated purple balloons to your neutral under clothes. For an added detail, wear a green beanie to create a grape stem.
The anti-costume: Error 404
Steps: Find a local t-shirt screen printer or draw on a t-shirt “Error 404 Costume Not Found.” This is a snarky and minimal effort costume for even the most last minute of decisions.
Owner/Pet costume: Vendor and Hotdog
What you’ll need:
Red apron
White shirt
Chef hat
Doggie hotdog costume
Owner/Pet costume: Little Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf
What you’ll need:
Red fabric/hood
A basket of goodies
If your pup’s ears aren’t ferocious enough, add large black fluffy ears to mimic a wolf.
We hope our suggestions sparked your imagination and that you can pull together an easy and creative Halloween costume. Have a safe and spooky Halloween!
