1. We have lived at CityWay for over a year. We chose the Onyx floor plan for the open-concept kitchen and living room, as well as the number of large windows to allow in all the natural light. And the balcony is a nice plus too!
2. When we’re not enjoying everything that the Mile Square has to offer, and the greater Downtown area, we enjoy visiting Broad Ripple. Between the local restaurants, bars, shops, Broad Ripple Park and more, it is always a fun trip. With the Red Line now in operation and riding Pacer’s bikes on the Monon, getting to Brip is a breeze!
3. We have been Indy Eleven season ticket holders since 2015, the team’s inaugural season. It has been exciting to watch the support for the team grow each year. We love supporting a professional soccer team in Indy and are excited for the future of the club.
4. Our favorite amenity that CityWay has to offer is the wonderful green spaces and public grills. We particularly are excited for the new outdoor kitchen space and firepits with CityWay 2.0. We really enjoy being outside with our two dogs, and CityWay has provided us with a lovely space to enjoy the city. Plat 99 is our favorite retailer — from morning coffees to evening cocktails, Plat 99 is the perfect corner cafĂ© and bar. We can go there for date night or out with friends, because a visit there is always fun and relaxing.

This fun-loving couple sat down with us to share a little bit about them!
How long have you lived at CItyWay? What floor plan did you choose and why?
We've been happily living at CityWay for 3.5 years. We initially chose the Onyx floor plan because of its large open living space and all of the natural light that the corner unit provides. We recently moved to an Olivine floor plan to take advantage of the extra space and its huge rooftop patio with a city view!
What is your favorite thing about the city of Indianapolis?
We love all of the great restaurants, bars, breweries and sporting events that are all within walking distance. Our favorite thing to do is attend Pacers games and we really enjoy having Bankers Life Fieldhouse just steps away from our home at CityWay.
What is one thing no one knows about you?
While we went to the same college at the same time (and had the same major), we actually never met until a few years after we graduated!
Thanks for sharing and thank you for bringing your adorable pup, Lilly!

]]>Property managers and team members took strides in improving their overall customer service tactics, which resulted in the increase of SatisFacts award winners from six in 2016, 25 in 2017 and now 30 in 2018!
Each property received at least a 4.0 (on a five-star rating) score on their annual surveys sent out to residents and prospects with a minimum of 25 surveys completed.
SatisFacts is the leading provider of resident surveys, focusing on multifamily retention and reputation management. By providing surveys to undecided prospective residents, residents after move-in, residents after service is completed in their home, and to residents near the expiration of their lease, Buckingham properties are always able to keep up with customer satisfaction. The purpose of these surveys is to provide a communication tool and customer service safety net to ensure questions, issues, concerns and praise don’t go unheard and that the team can then meet their residents’ needs.
Buckingham Companies' vision is to maintain an excellent reputation and integrity of our brand while delivering exceptional results. The properties who made this list exceed our vision on a daily basis!

What are your three favorite things about CityWay?
My favorite things about the Cityway community are:
- The level of pet friendliness/pet policy that CityWay has. My dog is incredibly important to me and finding a luxury apartment complex that does not impose a pet weight limit can be almost impossible, so I really appreciate that about CityWay! Additionally, the pet friendly activities and amenities (e.g. Drool in the Pool, Doga, Dog Park) are a huge plus!
- The apartment amenities are convenient and well thought out! A gym and pool can be somewhat standard for higher end apartment complexes in Indianapolis, but the movie theater and amenity center really stand out.
- The proximity of the community to the entertainment (Lucas Oil Stadium, BankersLife Fieldhouse), bars, and restaurants offered in downtown Indy.
What is something no one knows about you?
Something no one knows about me is that I'm terrified of scary movies to the point that I can't even watch the television commercials for them.
What is your favorite Indianapolis borough to visit?
I spend most of my time in the Mass Ave, Fountain Square, and Broad Ripple areas!

What made you choose CityWay as your home?
I chose CityWay because of the layout of the apartments. I looked into most apartment complexes around downtown and knew this was my favorite the instant I saw it.
What do you love most about CityWay?
CityWay's location is definitely my favorite part. I go to most Pacers and Colts games, so being able to walk is great. I also love that I can walk to the YMCA and multiple bars and restaurants. I try to go to at least one new restaurant every week, and I'm able to walk to many that I've never tried before.
What is your favorite thing about the city of Indianapolis?
Indianapolis, other than college, is the only city I've ever lived in. I love how it's big enough to have professional teams like the Colts and Pacers, and there is always activities going on. And it's still small enough that you don't get the traffic like you would in New York or Chicago. It's really a great city for sports fans thanks to the many events the city has hosted throughout the years.

What is your favorite Indianapolis event? Why?
Circle City IN Pride in June! I've marched in the Pride Parade with my colleagues from the NCAA national office every year since 2015, and it's one of the most joyous days of my year. There's so much love along that parade route, and it's wonderful to celebrate my LGBTQ+ community here in central Indiana.
Where within CityWay, other than your apartment, do you like to spend time?
It's so hard to choose which place within CityWay is my favorite – I spend so much of my time here, even when I'm not in our apartment. Having the Irsay Family YMCA right next door is so convenient (especially to help mitigate all the time I spend at Qdoba). Sebastian, our dachshund, loves the dog park. I like meeting friends at Yolk on the weekends for brunch. We also like reserving the movie theater in the amenity center for special events. I use BlueIndy a lot, so it's great to have the South Street station right here. We certainly try to make the most of all the amenities we have here at CityWay!
How long have you lived at CityWay? What floor plan did you choose? Why?
This is my second time living at CityWay, so in total, I've lived here for about a year and a half. When I first moved to Indy in 2013, I lived solo in the Amaranth because it was the perfect size for me, and I loved the west-facing windows with the city view. This time around, and now married, we're in the Amethyst — I love having two floors, and as soon as I saw the rooftop terrace, there was no question it was the right place for us.

My favorite thing about Indianapolis is that the city has a lot of great things to offer. I enjoy exploring Indianapolis' eclectic culture districts, especially during the summer.
What do you love most about CityWay?
I love the interaction that I have with the CityWay staff. Also, my apartment location is great in proximity to work, and I also enjoy interacting with my neighbors.
What is your favorite Indianapolis event and why?
My favorite Indianapolis events include Indiana Pacers social engagements and music concerts. I love sports and music, so it's hard to choose one specific event.

How long have you both lived at CityWay?
We've lived here for two and a half years.
What floor plan did you choose and why?
We chose the Amethyst because of the great city views and rooftop terrace.
What is your favorite thing about the city of Indianapolis?
The diversity is something special to both of us, but not only with the people but the way the city feels. Some days it's buzzing with activity while other days it's pretty quiet, which makes for a well-balanced living environment.
What is your favorite bar or restaurant within walking distance of CityWay?
You can find us at Plat99 any time of the week!

What are your three favorite things about living at CityWay?
- The location; it's so close to downtown and Fletcher Place. I walk and bike everywhere.
- My balcony, especially in the warmer months.
- The maintenance guys and leasing ladies. They are always helpful, timely, friendly, and professional.
What's your favorite event in Indy?
My favorite event is the food festival called DigIn – A Taste of Indiana that occurs every summer.
What are some of your favorite places to dine or drink that are within walking distance?
There are so many that are so close! Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Lucas Oil, Bluebeard, Siam Square, Hotel Tango Distillery, and City Market, just to name a few!
